Goody Collage FINAL

Mothers of little girls will all agree – hair brushing can be a nightmare!

My daughter has long hair she has been growing ever since “The Incident” and while she refuses to get more than a little trim now at the salon, she often cries her way through brushing sessions. Of course, Sophie is an active girl who prefers to wear her hair down. I constantly put it in a braid to try and keep it manageable but she removes it, preferring to let her hair loose.  After a particularly long day playing outside, it can be a complete disaster to brush it all out. She has thin hair which knots very easily and even if I brush very slowly and douse it with de-tangling spray, we still end up with tears. When we’re really desperate, we end up brushing it in the tub with conditioner in.

Sophie jump rope good

Last week Sophie received a special delivery in the mail from Goody. This was a pretty exciting package as it contained not only some colourful hair accessories, but a new Goody Ouchless Hair Brush. Sophie was so excited to try it – could this brush actually make our hair brushing sessions enjoyable?

In true Sophie style, she took to her YouTube channel to find out and to show her viewers how she likes to style her hair:

Since she filmed this video, we’ve been using the brush exclusively and as a mom, I can truly say that I am amazed. Not one tear! She enjoys getting her hair brushed and actually brushes MORE than she did before. It also makes both our morning and nighttime routines more enjoyable and go by faster.
