I love online shopping, especially around the holidays. Gone are the days of driving around looking for parking at a busy mall and making your way through crowded stores, only to wait in line to get to the cash. Now, from the comfort of our PJ’s, we can buy pretty much anything online.
Sometimes you can even find some fantastic deals.
Ok, this sounded too good to be true. Really? $50? Plus, shipping is always FREE! Sounded too good to pass up.
How it works is simple.
If you are already a PayPal user, a $25 credit has already been loaded into your account on any purchase of $75 or more. You can also combine this offer with the SHOP.CA sign-up offer of $25 off a purchase over $100, giving you a total of $50 off a purchase of $100 or more.
SHOP.CA so I thought it was worth checking out the site to see if they had anything I might want. Hubby and I had already decided our “gift” to ourselves this Christmas would be a new sheet set for our bed. This can get a bit pricey being that a) we have a king bed and b) over the years we’ve become slightly sheet-snobby.
As I needed to add 1 more item to my cart to put me over $100, I found a cute scarf for $9.99 and added it to my cart.
Then it was time to see if I really was going to save $50.
When reading the small print, I saw that the first $25 would be applied on the shop.ca website. When I went to the checkout, sure enough there was a $25 credit and I simply had to choose that I wanted to use it on this transaction.
The 2nd $25 would be applied at the Paypal payment page. You won’t see the Paypal discount amount but you will see something on your Paypal payment page that says “Special Offer applied” next to the payment method.
I put through the order and then returned to my Paypal account to verify the $25 discount and sure enough, it was there. My total for the king sheet set and the scarf, including tax & free shipping, was only $68.63.
Pretty cool right?
Only problem is that the PayPal offer ends on November 17th – so head over now and get shopping!!
Ohhh and I cannot forget! You earn rewards for shopping. So my purchase earned me $2.34 – you can build up these rewards and then apply them to future purchases to save even more. Who doesn’t love savings?

Disclaimer – I was not asked to write this post. I was not paid to write this post. I am a consumer who found a great deal and thought it would be fun to share it. However, the links I have included are referral links and I would totally appreciate you signing up through my referral link – http://www.shop.ca?plcktb=ZwF3UG4BZg2 so I can earn the credit. You don’t have to of course, but it would be super-nice of you. 🙂
