I recently shared a delicious chocolate mug cake recipe, ready in just 5 minutes, and while I love chocolate, my one true (food) weakness is peanut butter. I could eat it by the spoon straight from the jar… and may, occasionally enjoy a spoon full, the combination of chocolate and peanut butter together in a mug cake is sinful.
This recipe takes no longer than 5 minutes, if not less time. Who doesn’t love a quick chocolate peanut butter craving.
Grab your favorite mug and a few ingredients from your kitchen.
Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder until thoroughly, completely combined with no streaks of flour or cocoa powder remaining.
Blend in milk, butter, and vanilla until batter is smooth.
Combine peanut butter and chocolate chips. I fold my chocolate chips into the center of the peanut butter.
The drop it into the center of the mug, gently pressing down until even with the top of the batter.
Microwave on high for 1 minute. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes before eating.
